MAGNET partners with WVIZ and NOTA for Distance Learning project to Ohio high schools

During the 2008-2009 school year, MAGNET, in partnership with the North Ohio Technology Association (NOTA) and WVIZ IdeaStream, presented a series of six interactive streaming video programs to promote careers in Ohio's advanced manufacturing industries to Ohio high schools. They are now available for download (scroll down).

These episodes will also be made available on DVD to other schools for career programs and libraries. Requests for the taped programs come from around the state and even from adjoining states.

MAGNET Career Resources PDFDownload this two-page "Career Awareness Supplement" to the video series. It includes live links to dozens of helpful resources for students and teachers investigating manufacturing careers. These resources include lesson plans, activities, games and more (PDF, 28k).
